Kristen Fuss the principal at Halecreek Elementary understands that the success of her students is partially determined by them having necessary resources. That is why State Representative Erica Geiss, along with AT&T Representatives Robert Jones and Gregory Clark stepped up to donate 50 backpacks filled with school supplies to her students. “Our students were so excited about receiving the new backpacks and supplies. It may seem small but it’s important for them to have writing utensils, paper, glue and tape. Most importantly the backpacks will help them stay organized and up to date with their daily assignments and important communications”, said Fuss. Students in grades kindergarten through fifth that needed a backpack were able to pick one out as theirs to keep.
