Romulus Physical Education Teacher Craig Otter is always looking for new ways to challenge his students, both physically and mentally. He recently allowed the Army National Guard to step in and implement their Warrior Fit Program. The program is a fast paced cross-fit circuit comprised of different stations designed to force students to adapt quickly to new challenges. “It is great to work with Romulus students and introduce them to physical fitness. The National Guard allows young adults to serve their country while providing them with money for college”, said Staff Sgt. Cox who is also a Romulus Graduate. The Warrior Fit program focuses on movement, nutrition, and community. It was designed to meet National Association for Sport and Physical Education Content Standards and National Health Education Standards.
